Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the pair confronted each other to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
Despite these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters participated in the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the match is actually proceeding.
